This involves each applicant having their complaint history reviewed and being visited by a Trading Standards officer. Additional requirements are references from previous customers and criminal records Bureau clearance.
The scheme covers three key topics
- Ensure staff are properly trained for work
- Respond to any customer enquiries/complaints promptly
- Criminal Records Bureau clearance for all staff that carry out work in peoples home
What this means to you?
